Motion Monday: True Blood Season FIVE!

June 10th is the day to tune your television in to True Blood Season 5. It seems forever ago that Season 4 finished. I’m not going to go on and on about why this is such great news because hopefully all you ‘True Blooders’ out there know why.

Here is where Season 4 started off:

And here is how far it has progressed SEASON 5!

Snap Wednesday: Big Bang Theory Meets Stephen Hawking

As a Big Bang Theory fan I found came across this picture. The boys out of character with Stephen Hawking. A simple delight.

Fashion Friday: Asher Keddie

Season 3 of Offspring has begun and I’m very excited. I could certainly say that it is one of my favourite Australian TV shows, it literally has me on the floor laughing, crying and laughing every episode. This can be accredited to a lot of the actors but mainly Asher Keddie.

Not only do I love Asher Keddie for all her amazing acting rolls but her fashion is devine.

Motion Monday: Kath and Kim… Kimderella

Last night on the Logies it was announced that the fabulous Kath and Kim will be doing a movie in September. To some this could have been the worst news they heard during the Logies. For me an I’m sure quite a few others… this is great news! A TV series that made me laugh… A LOT! Highlighting Aussie bogans… or some qualities that you see in people you know.

Here is an old scene from Kath and Kim:

So what does the big screen have in store for us with this duo? Check out the sneak preview:

Hitting Cinemas around Australia on September 6th 2012. For more information or to touch up your Kath and Kim side check out their website: www.kathandkim.com

Motion Monday: Punk’d has RETURNED

Incase you haven’t heard Punk’d has RETURNED. I find this exciting because I remember many teenage years watching and laughing to Mr Kutcher, as well as admiring his very good looks. Ashton was recently on Jimmy Kemmel with Justin Bieber, discussing the new season (Season 9) of Punk’d after a three year break.

Why Bieber you ask? He is the first of the rotating celebrity hosts on Punk’d. He is still yet to grow on me, after watching the first episode your kind of hoping that Ashton will jump out and help Justin Bieber out. In saying that he did very well at Punk’ing the first of hopefully many celebrities to be Punk’d. The victim Taylor Swift, and Justin’s goal – to make her cry… and that he did!

Motion Monday: Sex and the City the New Carrie

Incase you haven’t heard after a very succesful book turn TV series, Candace Bushnell is doing it again. The lady who brought us Sex and the City is now bringing Carrie Diaries to TV. So what is the Carrie Diaries about? Straight from Candace Bushnell‘s website:

The Carrie Diaries is the coming-of-age story of one of the most iconic characters of our generation.

Before Sex and the City, Carrie Bradshaw was a small town girl who knew she wanted more. The Carrie Diaries is the story of how a regular girl learns to think for herself, and evolves into a sharp, insightful writer. Readers will learn about her family background, how she found her writing voice, and the indelible impression her early friendships and relationships left on her. Through adventures both audacious and poignant, we’ll see what brings Carrie to her beloved New York City, where her new life begins.

Here Candace Bushnell talks to us directly about it:

The big question is who will be playing the style queen’s younger self? AnnaSophia Robb! You may not know her from some of her recent work, which I’m sure will change, but you may recognise AnnaSophia from her role in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which featured Johnny Depp, with AnnaSophia asViolet.

AnnaSophia’s Carrie transformation has me very excited! It looks like this series is going to be full of all of Carrie Bradshaw’s styles that we saw in Sex and the City.

AnnaSophia is set for the TV series saying to UK DailyMail:

‘I’ve been watching the show and really trying to click with the character. I know everyone’s going to compare it to Sex and the City, but we’re never going to be that.

‘The show is more for my generation, but it’s set in the ’80s, so it’s fun.’

Motion Monday: Once Upon A Time…

I’ve started watching a new TV series called “Once Upon A Time”. Co-Creator/Executive Producer Edward Kitsis explains what the show is about:

Once Upon A Time is, at its core, a story about hope. “For us, that’s what a fairytale is. It’s that ability to think your life will get better. It’s why you buy a lottery ticket—because if you win you get to tell your boss that you’re quitting and you get to move to Paris or wherever and be who you always wanted to be. And that’s Cinderella, right? One day she’s sweeping up and the next she’s going to the ball. Adam and I just wanted to write about something hopeful that for one hour a week allows one to put everything aside and have that feeling that your dreams just may come true.”

The TV series reminds you of all those story tales that you read when you were younger, and it appeals to you because it has been modified to represent modern life. Is it to kiddy? Definitely not! I would recommend this series to anyone who loves crime, romance, drama, comedy and thrillers… which is basically every genre.

To top it off one of my favourite actress Ginnifer Goodwin plays Snow White – and she does it incredibly well.

I’ve included some videos from the series below, I’ll let you be the judge.
